1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies when you use the DataGuida website, including Find Jobs, Dashboard, Job Tracker, and J.A.R.V.I.S. It does not govern external recruitment websites or other third-party services linked from DataGuida.

2. Information we process

Account information

When you create or use an account, DataGuida processes the information required for authentication and account management, such as your username and login credentials.

Job Tracker information

If you use Job Tracker, DataGuida stores the jobs you save, their application status, your personal notes, and the time those records were updated.

J.A.R.V.I.S. interactions

When you ask J.A.R.V.I.S. a question, DataGuida processes the question, interface language, and the limited context needed to generate an answer. Do not submit passwords, identity documents, financial information, confidential employer data, or other sensitive personal information.

Technical and session information

DataGuida may process session identifiers, language preferences, security tokens, IP addresses, browser information, request timestamps, and server error logs as needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

3. How information is used

• Provide account access and maintain authenticated or guest sessions.
• Save and update Job Tracker records.
• Answer supported job market questions through J.A.R.V.I.S.
• Display dashboards, job listings, and related platform features.
• Protect DataGuida from misuse, investigate errors, and improve reliability.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and valid authority requests.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

DataGuida uses essential cookies or comparable browser storage for login sessions, guest access, CSRF protection, and language preferences. These technologies are necessary for core website functions. DataGuida does not currently use advertising cookies.

5. Service providers and third parties

Google Gemini API

J.A.R.V.I.S. uses the Google Gemini API. Questions and generated responses may be processed and retained by Google according to the Gemini service tier and Google's applicable terms. Data use differs between paid and unpaid Gemini services, so users should not include sensitive, confidential, or unnecessary personal information.

Metabase

DataGuida uses Metabase to display job market dashboards. Loading a dashboard may generate technical requests and logs needed to deliver the visualization.

Recruitment platforms and external links

Job information may originate from third-party recruitment platforms. When you follow an external link, the destination website processes information under its own privacy policy, not this policy.

Hosting and infrastructure

Hosting, database, security, and infrastructure providers may process limited technical information only as needed to operate DataGuida.

6. Sharing and sale of information

DataGuida does not sell users' personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers described above, when required by law, to protect the security and rights of DataGuida or others, or as part of a legitimate transfer of the service with appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention

Account and Job Tracker information is retained while needed to provide those features, until the account or relevant records are deleted, or for a longer period when required for security or legal compliance. Technical logs are retained only for a reasonable operational period. Third-party providers apply their own retention periods.

8. Security

DataGuida uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, secure authentication practices, secret management, and server-side validation. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the processing of your personal data. You may also object to or withdraw consent from processing that relies on consent. Some data may need to be retained when required by law or necessary to resolve security and legal issues.

10. International processing

Some service providers may process information in countries outside Vietnam. DataGuida will use such providers only where reasonably necessary and will apply appropriate contractual, technical, or legal safeguards where required.

11. Age requirement

DataGuida and J.A.R.V.I.S. are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. DataGuida does not knowingly seek personal information from children.

12. Policy changes

This policy may be updated when DataGuida changes its features, providers, or legal obligations. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised update date.
